It seemed that this area is difficult to approach. However, Mr. Yamasaki proved that it attaches quite comfortably. Then, exploitation of this area was begun by Takeshi Yamasaki, Yukie Yamasaki, Takumi Yamasaki, and Keiichi Nagatomo around from June, 2008. From the summer of 2009, people of the Phoenix team, such as Ryuji Tsuchimura, Shinji Kitahara, and Susumu Saigo, also cleaned with grass up, and cultivated the route. There is no part notably covered except the 2nd pitch of upside area. However, there are some places which inclined ahead for a while. As for a grade, 5.10 to 5.11 is in use.
Approach: From the parking lot of Oku-Hyugami campsite, you walk along with the pavement discarded about 2 minutes in the direction of rock tower. It escapes from the first tunnel and reaches immediately the right (the direction of a dam lake). If you reach using the fix-rope, you will arrive at the area of the lower one. Moreover, if you withdraw from a tunnel and look at immediately the left, it will turn out that the thin mountain trail continues to an open space between a telegraph pole and the wall of concrete. You will arrive at an open space, if you walk about 3 minutes from a road.
The rock which rises high there is andesite.
Notes: I recommend for you to use a 50m rope. It cannot be said that the state of a wall is the best. Be careful of falling stone. I want you to climb carefully by self-responsibility.
